What is resilienceWhat are proactive, resilient social skills and how can we support them in school When children quickly adapt to new environments that may require them to learn new skills, to be patient, to cope effectively with some challenges, frustrations and maybe even anxiety we say they are responsible and resilient. Researchers have discovered that these positive coping skills are learned and dependent upon the child having a bond with a caring adult who models, teaches and reinforces these positive skills.
